About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and commercially aware Buyer to join our General Merchandise team at Sainsbury's. As a Bathroom Buyer, you will play a crucial role in achieving our ambitious growth plans and providing customers with a great range of quality products at competitive prices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Translate and execute category strategies to drive profitable growth
  • Own target KPIs, including sales, margin, stock, availability, digital metrics, and customer satisfaction
  • Establish strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of our strategy
  • Manage pricing, develop trading plans, and conduct regular store visits
Requirements

We are looking for a highly motivated and commercially aware professional with a passion for delivering profitable growth and customer-focused strategies. You will have previous buying experience, preferably in a non-food retail environment, and bring a deep understanding of market trends and suppliers to inform budgeting and trading plans.
