About the Role
SRG is seeking a highly organized and forward-thinking Mass Spectrometry Scheduler to join our team. As a Mass Spectrometry Scheduler, you will be responsible for managing a range of different testing and study needs, balancing these with the needs of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a 5-day rolling schedule for Mass Spectrometers, taking into account staff capabilities, equipment availability, and different types of Mass Spec machinery.
- Create a longer-term overview of needs and scheduling to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Support the business with other operational activities that support them completing studies for pharmaceutical and biotechnology customers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of testing and study needs.
- Provide excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of people.
Requirements
- Prior experience working with Mass Spectrometers or in an analytical laboratory.
- Relevant degree in a scientific subject (or considerable lab experience in lieu of this).
- Experience with highly regulated lab environments (GLP, GCP, GMP, etc.).
- Highly computer literate with advanced Excel techniques.
- Excellent communicator with ability to interact with all different levels of people.
- Confident with change, working in an agile way.
- Highly organized and able to balance multiple needs and projects.
