About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Multi Trade Operative to join our Trades team on a permanent basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring properties are repaired and maintained to a high standard.

You will be responsible for carrying out repairs, improvements, surveys, and measurements efficiently and economically in accordance with current working practices and all related health and safety legislation and good practice.

By working in a professional, respectful, and courteous manner, you will deliver excellent customer service, achieve objectives, and demonstrate behaviour competences.

About You

You must be qualified to City & Guilds or NVQ2 level in Building Maintenance, Multi Trade repair and refurbishment operations or demonstrate equivalent trade experience. Previous experience of working within the social housing sector would be beneficial.

You must have a Full UK Driver's License to enable you to be successful as you will be travelling to multiple locations weekly. You will be provided with transport.

You will be required to undertake a range of routine and planned domestic maintenance repairs including the following trades: Basic Plumbing, Carpentry, Joinery, Painting/Decorating, Plastering, Wall and Floor Tiling, and Roofing.

It is essential that you are able to ensure the safe and proper use of all mechanical and non-mechanical plant and equipment under your direct control.
