About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Leader to join our team at SHG (Care Villages). As a Nurse Leader, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality person-centered care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement person-centered care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records, adhering to company policies, NMC guidelines, and GDPR legislation.
- Lead and supervise a team of care staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent care delivery.
- Conduct regular staff appraisals and provide coaching and development opportunities to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
- Ensure the correct skill mix is maintained on each shift, ensuring residents receive the best possible care.
- Administer and record medication accurately, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Promote better quality of life and wellbeing by encouraging residents to participate in activities that interest them.
- Take charge of the home in the absence of the Home Manager and Deputy Manager, ensuring seamless care delivery.
- Maintain good professional relationships with external multidisciplinary teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
About You
We are looking for a qualified nurse with experience in delivering person-centered care. You should possess excellent communication skills, be empathetic and friendly, and have a meticulous attention to detail.
You should be a natural leader, with a track record of motivating a team to achieve outstanding results. You should be comfortable taking responsibility and remain calm under pressure.
