Tidyco Ltd is a family-owned engineering firm established in Derby, seeking a motivated and adaptable individual to enhance our Electrical team.

Position Overview:

We are actively looking for a Licensed Electrician to join our dynamic engineering and production setting. You may occasionally be required to assist in various departments as needed.

This is a full-time, permanent role, comprising 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation, maintenance, repair, and testing of electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments.
• Conducting Electrical Installation Condition Reports and documenting any identified issues.
• Installation, inspection, and testing of emergency lighting systems.
• Testing and servicing of fire detection and alarm systems.
• Identifying and rectifying faults in existing electrical systems.
• Maintaining accurate records of work performed and associated costs via the Tidyco portal, collaborating with the Electrical Divisional Manager.
• Adhering to all health and safety regulations and practices at all times.

Qualifications and Skills:

• City & Guilds 18th Edition wiring regulations certification.
• City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing or equivalent (desirable, but training may be provided for the right candidate).
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
• AM2 certification.
• Approved Electrician status.
• Full clean driving license.
• IPAF qualifications.
• PASMA certification.
• Level 3 Award in Domestic, Commercial & Industrial Electric Vehicle Charging Equipment City & Guilds (advantageous, but training can be provided).
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Able to work independently or collaboratively within a team.
