We are seeking a talented and experienced Medical Science Liaison to join our team. As an MSL, the successful candidate will serve as a key scientific resource, bridging the gap between clinical development, medical communities, and healthcare professionals in the fields of biotechnology and medical devices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders in the fields of biotechnology and medical devices within the EU
  • Provide scientific and technical support for our medical devices and biotechnology products to internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Present clinical data and demonstrate medical devices at scientific conferences, medical meetings, and to healthcare professionals
  • Contribute to the development of medical education programs, including training materials for medical devices
  • Stay current on relevant therapeutic areas, medical device technologies, and competitive landscapes in the Belgian market
  • Collaborate with R&D teams to provide insights on medical device usability and clinical applications
  • Gather and communicate healthcare provider feedback on medical devices to inform product development and improvements
  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of advisory boards and other medical affairs initiatives
Requirements:
  • Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, MD) in life sciences, biomedical engineering, or related field
  • ~3+ years of experience in the biotechnology industry, with additional experience or knowledge in medical devices preferred
  • Strong understanding of clinical research, drug development processes, and medical device regulations
  • Hands-on experience with medical devices and ability to provide technical demonstrations
  • Familiarity with the EU healthcare system and regulatory environment
