Key Responsibilities

  • Client Engagement: Interact with clients through workshops, presentations, and advocacy efforts.
  • Research and Analysis: Perform comprehensive research, literature reviews, and draft cultural heritage assessments; conduct site evaluations, including archaeological assessments.
  • Design Contributions: Offer heritage-focused design insights, including conservation strategies, urban planning, and adaptive reuse approaches.
  • Report Development: Prepare specialized reports such as Development Briefs, Statements of Significance, and Environmental Assessments.
  • Consultant Oversight: Evaluate the technical contributions of external consultants.
  • Proposal Preparation: Develop proposals for prospective projects.
  • Professional Assistance: Provide support for urban planning and design projects, including document preparation and presentations.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A relevant Master's degree with a minimum of 4 years of professional experience.
  • Proficiency in GIS software (particularly ArcMapPRO) and Adobe Suite; familiarity with additional design software is advantageous (training will be provided).
  • Demonstrated experience in landscape archaeology, environmental assessments, built heritage management, and public archaeology.
  • Strong understanding of cultural heritage conservation practices and legal frameworks, with an appreciation for diverse regional contexts.
  • Excellent communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and effective time management abilities. Willingness to collaborate with colleagues across various regions.
  • Flexibility and readiness to travel internationally for site evaluations.
