Job Title: Metering Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Metering Engineer to join our team at Calisen Metering. As a Metering Engineer, you will play a crucial role in delivering excellent service to our customers.

About the Role

As a Metering Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical meters. You will work closely with our team to ensure that our customers receive the best possible service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical meters
  • Work with our team to ensure excellent customer service
  • Conduct site visits to install and maintain meters
  • Collaborate with other teams to resolve any issues
  • Ensure all work is carried out to the highest standards
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • CCN1/CMA1/CMA3 or CESP1 qualification
  • Met 1 qualification
  • 3-phase qualification with 18 months experience and completed a 3-phase installation in the last 3 months
  • A previous MOCOPA
  • At least 6 months experience working as a dual fuel smart meter installer
  • Full manual driving licence with no more than 6 points
  • Able to pass a DBS check
What We Offer

We offer a highly competitive remuneration package, including:

  • £42,400 basic salary (OTE £53,000)
  • London Weighting £2,000 per annum (if you live within the M25)
  • 3-phase sign on bonus of £5,000 (T&Cs apply)
  • Higher skill recognition payment of £500 (6 months)
  • Up to £250 quarterly health and safety bonus
  • Daily fitting bonus
  • 30 days holidays, rising to 33 (This includes bank holidays)
  • Van, tools, PPE and Fuel card
  • Standby 1 week in 4
  • Induction and on-going training in Wigan (WN4)
