Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Demi Chef de Partie to join our dynamic kitchen team at Rudding Park. As a Demi Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for running a section or function within the kitchen, assisting in the management of junior team members, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality food to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook dishes using the best fresh and local produce.
  • Run a section or function within the kitchen, ensuring efficient and effective service.
  • Take pride in being responsible for helping to deliver high-quality food for our guests.
  • Work well in a busy kitchen, thriving under pressure and fast-paced service.
  • Be a team player who communicates respectfully with the team.
  • Be reliable, hardworking, trustworthy, and passionate in your work.
  • Deal with deliveries and stock rotation, maintaining kitchen hygiene standards at all times.
  • Follow all health & safety / COSHH protocols.

General
  • Be responsible for Health and Safety as an individual and also to work colleagues, guests, and the business, reporting concerns through the Health and Safety processes and procedures.
  • Ensure continuous professional development of self, including attending required training courses and seeking means of developing within the business.
  • Promote continuous improvement in the level of quality and guest care provided by the business and make proposals/suggestions where applicable.
  • Respect colleagues and the working environment at all times.
  • Ensure high standard of dress and self-presentation within the working environment.
  • Undertake any other duties commensurate within the position for which you are qualified.

  • Enhanced pay (up to an additional £3 per hour for working week days after 7pm and weekends).
