Job Title: M&E Design Manager

About the Role:

Romans Recruitment Group is seeking a skilled M&E Design Manager to join our client's Technical Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing technical information, coordinating with external consultants, and communicating with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate MEP packages to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Attend pre-order meetings to discuss project requirements and timelines
  • Provide technical support for MEP services installation, including design and implementation
  • Monitor and coordinate MEP procurement to ensure timely delivery
  • Organize and chair MEP workshops to facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing
  • Review and coordinate design programmes to ensure alignment with project goals
  • Coordinate MEP design with building structure to ensure seamless integration
  • Review and analyze energy strategy to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Assist in resolving technical queries and providing technical support during commissioning
  • Attend client demonstrations to showcase project progress and results

Requirements:

  • A relevant degree in a field such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience in M&E design management, preferably in a similar role
  • Strong technical knowledge and skills, including design software and tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
