Job Opportunity: Teaching Assistant with SEN Support

We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant with a specialization in SEN support to work in a mainstream primary school located in the heart of Cambridge.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional to work within a specialist centre on the school premises, providing support to children with SEN. The ideal candidate will have a background in providing positive behaviour support and small group intervention, particularly for children with ASD and SEMH.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support children with SEN in a mainstream primary school setting
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans
  • Provide positive behaviour support and small group intervention

Requirements:

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Clear and current DBS
  • Proven experience working with SEN children
  • Driver preferred but not essential
