Empowering Learning - SEN Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN teaching assistant to join our team at Empowering Learning. As a teaching assistant, you will work on a 1:1 basis with a academically challenging child in reception, providing support and guidance to ensure their academic success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide enthusiastic and engaging support to the child, making learning fun and valuable.
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans.
  • Support the child's social and emotional development, promoting resilience and adaptability.
  • Assist with lesson planning and preparation, ensuring a smooth and effective learning environment.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers, keeping them informed of the child's progress and any concerns.
Requirements:
  • A minimum level 2 qualification in health and social care or teaching assistant.
  • Experience of working in KS1 and with children with Autism.
  • A DBS dated within the last 12 months or on the update service.
What We Offer:
  • A daily rate of £85-£100.
  • Regular CPD training opportunities, including team teach training.
  • Holiday pay of 12.07% and pension contributions.
