Job Opportunity: Logistics Delivery Driver

We are a leading recruitment agency, Source4 Personnel Solutions, currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established logistics company. We are seeking a reliable and efficient Delivery Driver to join their team. If you are customer-focused and ready to play a key role in a dynamic work environment, we want to hear from you.

Main Responsibilities

  • Representing the company in a positive and courteous manner at all times.
  • Loading and securing your vehicle in a safe and proper manner.
  • Following the routing and scheduling of our logistics team when possible.
  • Ensuring customers receive goods at the required time and to the required delivery point.
  • Notifying our office of any discrepancies at the earliest opportunity.
  • Conducting a daily vehicle inspection, ensuring the vehicle is in a sound and legal condition, reporting any faults on the relevant inspection document.
  • Ensuring the vehicle is locked and secured when not in attendance.
  • Observing the rules of the Highway Code at all times, and always considering other road users.
  • Ensuring the vehicle is washed and kept in a clean condition both inside and out.
  • Assisting in the warehouse with picking and put-away tasks.
  • Ensuring delivery notes are signed by the customer.
  • Observing all Health and Safety procedures at all times.
  • Performing any other duties that may become necessary from time to time.
