We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Dental Nurse to join our team at Bupa Dental Care. As a key member of our dental team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of dental nurses, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and dental hygiene.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of dental nurses, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient care and dental hygiene.
- Ensure compliance with CQC requirements and manage audits to maintain high standards of care.
- Oversee reception and staff rotas, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
- Update patient records and maintain accurate records of patient treatment.
- Set up decontamination of instruments and ensure proper sterilization procedures.
- Provide clinical chair-side support to dentists and undertake some reception duties as needed.
- Develop and implement training programs for dental nurses to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with the practice manager to develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient care and dental hygiene.
Requirements
- Confident leadership and management skills.
- GDC registration and experience in dentistry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
