Lead Veterinary Surgeon Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join our team at GLG Vets in Littleover. This exciting role offers the chance to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing top-quality veterinary care and treatment to a variety of animals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional veterinary care and treatment to animals, ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
  • Perform routine check-ups, surgeries, and emergency care as required, utilizing your expertise and knowledge to make informed decisions.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for each patient, ensuring seamless communication with the veterinary team.
  • Collaborate with a dedicated team of veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure the smooth operation of the clinic.
  • Ensure the clinic runs efficiently and effectively during your shifts, prioritizing patient care and team well-being.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Veterinary degree (MRCVS or equivalent), with a strong foundation in veterinary medicine and surgery.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Experience in both routine and emergency veterinary care, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient outcomes.
