We are seeking an exceptional Ward Manager to lead our 8-bedded coronary care unit at the Royal Glamorgan Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care while ensuring effective planning and implementation of care needs with available resources.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and work closely with all members of the ward team to ensure excellent team working across the multi-disciplinary team.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous professional development.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care delivery and effective resource allocation.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote patient safety and quality care.
- Registered Nurse with relevant degree and teaching module.
- Extensive knowledge and appreciation of national policies and standards.
- Management experience with clinical leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing situations.
- Computer literate and able to manage resources effectively.
