About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Care and Support Assistant to join our team at McCarthy Stone. As a Care and Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, enabling them to live their lives to the fullest.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality individual care to residents, promoting their independence and wellbeing.
  • Provide housekeeping and domestic support across the estate, including apartment cleans.
  • Support and encourage residents to participate in activities that promote their health and wellbeing.
  • Assist with booking appointments, arranging transport, and escorting residents on visits as needed.
  • Help residents with their shopping and daily tasks.

About You:

  • You will be a warm, friendly, and approachable individual with a passion for making a difference in the lives of older people.
  • You will have a strong desire to deliver exceptional customer service and work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • You will be driven to deliver high-quality care and support, with a focus on promoting the independence and wellbeing of our residents.
  • You will have a strong understanding of the Health and Social Care sector and a commitment to delivering care that is person-centered and responsive to individual needs.
