Job Title: MET Technician

Location: Borehamwood, WD6 1WG

Salary: Up to £50,000 (depending on experience and qualifications) + bonus + other excellent benefits listed below

Full-Time and Permanent - Monday to Friday (no weekends)

Our client is a leading independent Accident Repair Group in the UK, renowned for their award-winning services and over 30 years of expertise within the vehicle body repair sector. With a strong presence in the Midlands and expanding rapidly throughout the UK, they offer a dynamic and innovative approach to delivering outstanding repairs.

As a MET Technician, you will be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carrying out all necessary mechanical and bodywork on allocated jobs
  • Dismantling vehicles ready for the panel shop
  • Carrying out inspections, fault-finding, and diagnostic work
  • Ordering replacement parts
  • Re-assembling the vehicle with new parts as required to pre-accident condition

About You:

Requirements:
  • Plan your workload effectively to ensure vehicles are ready to agreed-on timescales
  • Work skillfully and safely under pressure
  • Carry out work in accordance with manufacturers' specification
  • Work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative with minimal supervision
  • Be flexible in your approach
  • Continually work to high standards with customer satisfaction in mind

Candidates must have experience as a MET in a Bodyshop environment or we can also consider Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technicians who are looking for a change to work in a bodyshop.
