Position Overview

Corporate Counsel - In-House Legal Advisor

Location: Flexible (Hybrid)

Our client has experienced remarkable expansion in recent years and is poised for further growth as they enhance their global footprint. To facilitate this progress, they are looking for an In-House Legal Advisor to join their Legal Department. The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Delivering comprehensive legal guidance to the organization, focusing on a diverse array of transactional matters related to client agreements.
  • Engaging in various corporate issues, which may encompass areas such as disputes, employment law, real estate, corporate governance, and regulatory adherence. (Experience in all these fields is not mandatory)
  • Collaborating with business executives to foster growth while ensuring compliance with relevant legal standards.
  • Identifying and mitigating legal risks, drafting and negotiating a range of contracts, and generally supporting a dynamic and expanding organization.

You will benefit from the mentorship of senior members of the Legal Team and, during the current integration phase, will have the chance to play a pivotal role in this process and beyond. Additionally, you will be part of a Legal team that oversees all regions outside of North America, providing ample opportunities for diversity, professional development, and engagement.

Candidate Profile

  • Open to candidates with varying levels of post-qualification experience (minimum of 4 years).
  • Possess a relevant legal qualification obtained in the UK or another jurisdiction.
  • Have a solid understanding of corporate governance principles and a keen interest in working for a publicly traded company.
  • Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Demonstrate the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels, including staff, management, and external stakeholders.
  • Show a high degree of self-management, initiative, dependability, and adaptability to ensure optimal service delivery to both internal and external clients.
