About the Role

Fisher Investments is expanding its global presence and seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Response Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Incident Response team, you will play a critical role in guiding our global growth through strategic solutions and new ideas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and respond to security incidents, ensuring timely and effective mitigation of threats.
  • Consume, research, triage, and document security events and alerts, providing actionable insights to inform our security posture.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Technology and Governance, to identify and address security risks.
  • Develop and implement regular incident response and postmortem exercises, driving measurable improvements in our security capabilities.
  • Stay current with emerging threats and technologies, maintaining a deep understanding of advanced threat detection and mitigation strategies.
  • Analyze attacker tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) from security events, informing our security roadmap and threat hunting efforts.
  • Participate in response training events, ensuring our team remains up-to-date on best practices and emerging threats.
  • Manage response investigations from alert notification to log and system analyses, providing clear and actionable recommendations.
  • Develop automation and orchestration solutions to streamline repetitive response tasks, enhancing our overall security posture.
  • Evaluate team procedures, recommending updates to management to ensure our incident response capabilities remain effective and efficient.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of cybersecurity experience, with at least 2 years in security monitoring and response.
  • Working knowledge of adversary TTPs and MITRE ATT&CK principles.
  • Experience improving monitoring and response capabilities at scale.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language.
  • Experience with one or more scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
  • Deep understanding of the Microsoft stack, including PaaS experience with Azure and AWS.
  • SIEM Systems, Security Automation and Orchestration Solutions, Network analysis knowledge, and OSI model knowledge.
