Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in Edinburgh. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems for our Hydrogen Energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical systems, including equipment, refuelers, fuel storage, and installations.
- Conduct supporting calculations, including flow, pressure, structural, heat transfer calculations, and FEA.
- Develop 3D CAD designs and work with controls and electrical engineers to support the complete system design.
- Prepare technical file documentation and O&M manuals.
- Ensure compliance with H&S, quality, and environmental procedures.
- Maintain project PED and HAZOP documentation.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in a relevant mechanical engineering discipline.
- Proven experience in mechanical engineering, construction, or civil engineering.
- CAD proficiency in 3D and 2D.
- Autodesk Inventor 3D proficiency.
- Mechanical engineering design experience in structural and pressure vessels.
- Working knowledge of quality standards, regulations, and regulatory bodies.
- Project Management skills.
