About the Role

We are seeking a skilled LGV Class 2 Driver to join our team at Booker Group. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering products to our customers in a safe and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver products to customers, intact, on time, and in full, adhering to delivery schedules.
  • Complete documentation, such as delivery notes, credits, and collections, accurately and efficiently.
  • Adhere to all driving legislation and working time regulations, ensuring a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Follow health and safety procedures, taking responsibility for your own and others' safety.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety legislation and chill chain standards, maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Perform regular safety checks on your LGV, ensuring it is maintained and safe to operate.
  • Collect empty equipment from customers, promoting a smooth and efficient delivery process.
  • Cooperate fully with the driver debrief procedure and undertake any other duties as directed by the shift management team.
Requirements
  • A current LGV Class 2 driving license and a valid CPC card are essential.
  • Applications from newly qualified drivers are welcome.
