About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales and Operations Manager to join our team at Honda Motor Europe. As a key member of our After Sales team, you will be responsible for driving commercial results and delivering business targets through the implementation of operational programmes and standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Key Interface: Act as the primary point of contact between Honda and our retailers, building strong relationships to drive commercial success.
  • Target Setting and Monitoring: Collaborate with retailers to set targets and action plans, monitor progress, and provide guidance to ensure delivery in line with regional objectives.
  • Training and Development: Identify and meet training needs, either directly or through retailer development, to maximize commercial performance and promote brand image.
  • Retailer Assessment and Support: Work with retailer development and sales colleagues to assess candidate prospects for potential retailers, providing local after-sales expertise to maximize commercial performance and minimize risk within the retailer network.
  • Target Achievement and Analysis: Analyze and achieve parts, retention products, eVHC, and PM visit targets, with the implementation of countermeasures where required.
  • Implementation and Management: Implement and manage the Aftersales Development Programme from start to conclusion.
  • Dealer Adherence: Ensure full dealer adherence to all Aftersales Franchise Standards and Business Terms.

Analysis and Reporting:

  • Performance Analysis: Carry out detailed retailer performance analysis and reporting to keep senior managers informed and contribute recommendations to improve business results.
  • Market Intelligence: Use composite data and local market information to build a strong understanding of current performance, pre-empting and minimizing negative impacts on Honda's After Sales performance.
  • Reporting and Forecasting: Submit weekly forecasts versus set objectives and respond to ad hoc reporting requests.
  • CSI Analysis: Analyze and achieve aftersales CSI Overall Satisfaction scores, with the implementation of countermeasures where required.

Internal Relationships:

  • Collaboration and Communication: Build and maintain relationships with colleagues around the business to stay aware of relevant issues and opportunities.
  • Escalation Point: Act as a point of escalation for customer problems to resolve issues and improve the customer experience.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

  • Industry Knowledge: Possess a wide understanding of the Honda organization and knowledge of the external market.
  • Automotive Experience: Have experience in an automotive aftersales environment.
  • Retailer Experience: Have experience in a retailer service or workshop environment.
  • Commercial Acumen: Demonstrate a high level of commercial interest, with hands-on support of commercial business.
  • Technical Skills: Possess good knowledge of MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Language Skills: Have good English skills (written and spoken) for international communications.
  • Communication and Negotiation: Possess good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Time Management: Demonstrate good time management skills and a flexible approach to work prioritization and scheduling.
  • Organization and Analysis: Be well-organized and analytical, with the ability to think effectively in a cross-functional manner.
  • Travel Requirements: Be able to travel within Europe.
