We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Tax Assistant Manager to join our team at TPF Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing effective relationships with a diverse client portfolio, working on a hybrid basis between home and office.
Key Responsibilities:- Corporate Tax Return Preparation: Review and prepare complex corporate tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Tax Enquiries and Client Communication: Handle enquiries from HMRC, contact clients to gather additional information, and address any queries regarding tax filings or payments.
- Tax Planning and Research: Identify and support tax planning opportunities, working on research projects to stay up-to-date with industry developments.
- Collaboration and Advice: Work collaboratively with Partners to provide advice on areas such as R&D tax relief, loss relief, capital allowances, group reorganisations, and employee share schemes.
- Staff Management Support: Assist Managers and Partners with staff management, ensuring effective team performance and development.
- Corporate Tax Experience: Previous experience in corporate tax gained within a UK accountancy practice.
- Professional Qualifications: ATT/CTA/ACCA or ACA qualified or studying.
- Tax Software Experience: Experience with specific tax software is advantageous.
- Corporate Awareness and Relationship Building: Strong corporate awareness and relationship building skills.
- Organisation and Time Management: Highly organised with strong attention to detail and ability to manage and multitask workload effectively.
- Negotiable Salary: Dependent on experience and background, negotiable salary.
