Job Summary:

Niyaa People Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in the management of capital projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce tender documents using different forms and types of contract, including forms of contract to facilitate partnership working, for all capital and revenue construction and building-related projects.
  • Assist with the implementation of local authorities' capital and revenue building works programs in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Provide a cost monitoring and forecasting service in respect of all building-related projects undertaken by the section.
  • Carry out monthly financial valuations of contractor/partner activity, ensuring compliance with contract conditions and financial regulations at all times.

Requirements:

  • Minimum BSc in Quantity Surveying.
  • NHF SOR experience (3 years).
  • Experience of working on a range of procurement methods and contract forms.
  • Building, construction, and procurement practice, including EU Procurement Directives.
  • Social housing experience.
