About the Role
As a Home Care Assistant with Home Instead, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, promoting a sense of well-being and independence.
- Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and light household chores.
- Encourage clients to engage in activities that promote mental and physical stimulation, such as reading, watching TV, or going for walks.
- Support clients with mobility issues, assisting with transfers, mobility aids, and other needs.
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
Requirements
- No prior experience is necessary, as we provide comprehensive training. However, any previous care experience is an advantage.
- You must have a full driver's license and reliable transportation for various duties.
- You must be reliable and punctual to ensure we can continue to provide an excellent service to our clients.
- You must have a caring and friendly disposition to create lasting relationships.
