About the Role:

MMC Corporate is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior IT Manager to lead our Claims IT team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the global Claims platform roll-outs, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery of all projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee current global Claims platform roll-outs, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery of all projects.
  • Champion the agile implementation methodology, delivering end-to-end, customer-centric Technology products using a wide range of Agile standards, solutions, and best practices.
  • Reorganize an existing team of 200+ internal and external resources to focus on developing code.
  • Drive the end-to-end Technology product design and implementation using Objective and Key Results (OKRs).
  • Collaborate with MMC Enterprise Technology partners, Marsh-Operations, and Transformation Office.
  • Collaborate with all stakeholders across the company to drive global claims applications.
  • Think strategically, critically, and creatively to present optimal solutions, roadmaps, and release management options across Marsh's technology stack.
  • Own all aspects of Run, Enhance, and Change the business.
  • Build diverse, agile teams and reusable Claims IT capabilities across all areas of Marsh Tech.
  • Embed security in the solution architecture and development lifecycle.
  • Reorganize the team to focus on run and change colleagues and external team members to implement agile as the principal implementation lifecycle methodology.
  • Develop a cloud and container first approach when creating new applications for Marsh Tech.

Requirements:

  • Significant and substantial Agile delivery experience & mind-set.
  • Proven track record successfully implementing a large number of Tech deliverables simultaneously.
  • Direct Agile delivery experience for large platforms.
  • Substantial experience as a senior manager having managed extensive innovation or IT migration programs/portfolios.
  • Proven demonstration of leadership capabilities managing large teams.
  • Ability to quickly create value within a fast-paced, complex work environment.
  • Superb program management skills.
  • Superior communication skills, oral and written.
  • Insurance/Finance experience preferred but not essential.
  • Master's or advanced education in a related field.
