Job Title: Care Home Head Chef

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head Chef to lead our culinary team at Excelcare Holdings' Park Avenue Care Home in Bromley, Kent.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking nutritious meals using fresh ingredients, scheduling weekly meal menus, and working with the Home Manager to ensure ordering of stock is in line with budgetary requirements.

As the Care Home Head Chef, you will work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure meal plans and dietary requirements align with individual support plans and risk assessments. You will also be responsible for maintaining quality assurance systems within the kitchen, supervising other kitchen team members, and adhering to Health & Safety and Food Hygiene guidelines.

We are looking for a candidate with experience of cooking for large numbers, NVQ Level 2 in catering and hospitality, and 2 years' experience in a catering environment. You will also need 12 months' experience in managing a kitchen and excellent interpersonal skills.
