Financial Accountant

Sharp Consultancy is a leading finance and accountancy recruitment specialist assisting accounting and finance divisions of businesses in the Yorkshire and Derbyshire area. We are currently seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join our client's team in Bradford.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the year-end processes, including audit and financial reporting, to ensure statutory and sector requirements are met.
- Have full control of the balance sheet and control accounts, providing strong technical support to the finance team.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors to implement agreed recommendations and ensure compliance with regulatory bodies.
- Monitor cash-flow, highlighting any risks and assisting the business in using their financial resources effectively.
- Provide technical support to develop the finance team's operational finance responsibilities.
- Experience as a Financial Accountant, with either part-qualified or qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA status.
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of financial reporting and audit procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior finance and internal/external auditors.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
