Your Responsibilities
Oversee recruitment initiatives to attract, engage, and secure top talent for Tesco Technology, focusing primarily on specific business domains (Software Engineering & Data). Achieve and surpass targets and KPIs, including monthly hires, time to fill, and direct placements. Provide leadership, coaching, and support to your team of Talent Acquisition Specialists, helping them reach their hiring objectives and enhance their skills. Establish strong relationships with the domain Leadership Team, gaining insights into their business needs and offering market data to maintain Tesco's competitive edge. Design and implement innovative attraction, engagement, and sourcing strategies, collaborating with third-party sourcing platforms and agencies. Enhance and promote Tesco's Employer Brand through networking, social media, events, and other channels to connect with and attract individuals from the tech community. Review and refine our processes and assessment methods to ensure candidates and hiring managers experience an effective, engaging, and positive hiring journey, resulting in higher acceptance rates. Demonstrated experience in leading and executing recruitment within the Technology sector, with a proven track record of meeting ambitious goals. In-depth knowledge of attraction and sourcing techniques specific to technology, including the use of specialized sourcing tools and talent mining. Exceptional ability to build influential stakeholder relationships and collaborate effectively with business and HR colleagues. Strong leadership capabilities, including the ability to coach, motivate, and inspire while embodying Tesco's values. A proactive mindset, viewing challenges as opportunities and employing problem-solving skills to enhance performance. Empathy for candidates, hiring managers, and colleagues, prioritizing positive experiences. Capability to streamline processes, eliminate obstacles, and lead with a continuous improvement mindset to support hiring efforts across the team.
