Quantity Surveyor Opportunity

An exciting chance to work with a leading construction main contractor on a unique project in the region. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will take commercial responsibility for the phase/section/package, including internal package procurement and commercial reporting, ensuring alignment with project objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop commercial plans, incorporating deliverables and commercial plan targets into package scopes and pricing documents.
  2. Provide commercial and contractual expertise to the project team.
  3. Support the procurement team in producing package procurement documents, ensuring efficient and effective procurement processes.
  4. Identify and mitigate commercial and contractual risks.
  5. Implement risk management policies.
  6. Prepare Subcontract Final Accounts for review and sign-off.
  7. Present monthly Cost Reports.
  8. Value works executed by Sub-Contractors.
  9. Certify interim and final payments.
Requirements:
  1. Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in quantity surveying roles within the construction industry.
  3. Strong understanding of contract administration, procurement, and change management processes.
  4. Proficiency in using Excel and project management tools.
  5. Relevant driving licence.
