We are seeking an experienced registered Adult Nurse to join our team as a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Adult Nursing. As a key member of our faculty, you will play a vital role in facilitating teaching and learning across our Adult nursing provision.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and ambitious individual to develop their skills as a nurse educator and academic. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of our undergraduate and postgraduate courses, as well as participate in research and knowledge exchange activities.
Key Responsibilities- Teach and assess students on our Adult nursing provision
- Contribute to the development of our curriculum and assessment strategies
- Participate in research and knowledge exchange activities
- Support the development of our simulation centres
We offer a competitive salary, as well as opportunities for professional development and career progression. You will have the chance to complete a teaching qualification (PGCHE) and progress through our GOLD framework to achieve HEA senior fellowship.
We are happy to consider part-time working and/or secondments. Applicants without previous teaching experience will be considered as a Lecturer.
LocationWe are advertising for three posts, two of which are based at our Avery Hill campus and one at our Medway campus.
Please note that in addition to the advertised salary, the Avery Hill appointments would attract Academic London weighting allowance of £4069 per annum.
