We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at The Rising Sun in Fawkham, Kent. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for creating and implementing innovative menus that showcase our commitment to quality and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute menus that meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Lead and manage a team of chefs to ensure seamless kitchen operations and exceptional customer service.
- Monitor food costs, inventory, and waste reduction to maintain profitability and efficiency.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and culinary techniques to continuously improve our menu offerings.
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment that meets all health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with our management team to develop and implement new concepts and initiatives.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a senior chef in a premium quality pub or restaurant.
- Proven track record of menu development, kitchen management, and team leadership.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and quality control procedures.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive hourly rate of £16.
- 40-45 hours per week.
