About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Structural Engineer to join our team at Ramboll Group A/S. As a key member of our Building Structures department, you will be responsible for leading the structural engineering design of projects in diverse sectors and scale, from £5M to £100M.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership: Lead the structural engineering design of projects, ensuring the best service and holistic building outcomes for our clients.
  • Team Management: Manage a team of engineers and technicians locally and nationally to deliver projects to programme, to an excellent standard and within budget.
  • Technical Development: Contribute to the development of our technical skills and processes, assisting the training and development of your immediate team and implementing new processes and techniques developed by our Technical Excellence team.
  • Client Relationships: Delight our existing clients by building and maintaining excellent relationships through clear proactive communication and engagement at all project stages.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with a degree in structural or civil engineering and relevant experience in a variety of sectors, including schools, higher education, residential, commercial, or industrial development. You should be an effective communicator, both written and verbally, and have experience in planning and monitoring the commercial performance of an engineering consultancy as a business.
