About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Authorised Person to join our team at Integral UK Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and governance for HV and LV operations on our PAM account and other Corporate Sector accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with safety rules and regulations, and provide practical application guidance to team members.
  • Operate, isolate, discharge, and prove dead systems and equipment within specified limits.
  • Prepare, issue, and cancel safety documentation in accordance with safety rules.
  • Verify the competence of team members and ensure they have adequate knowledge of equipment and safety procedures.
  • Conduct site visits to identify potential risks and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Develop and implement control measures to minimize potential risks.
  • Advise on the use of Tagout or Permit to Work systems, and ensure all team members are aware of adopted procedures.
  • Carry out assessments of team members to ensure they have detailed knowledge of electrical systems, technical competence, and understanding of safety rules.
  • Recommend the appointment of competent team members, and ensure they are aware of their responsibilities.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with safety procedures and safety rules.
  • Report any deficiencies or potentially dangerous situations to the Controlling Manager.

Requirements

  • A suitably qualified and trained employee with at least 5 years of electrical experience.
  • A valid HV AP Certification via an approved training provider.
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in electrical engineering.
  • Experience of working within a critical infrastructure.
  • Ability to work independently and manage own time effectively, as well as working within a team and multiple levels from Technician to Director level.
  • Full Clean Driving License.
  • Conversant with standard IT systems and packages.
