About the Role

We are seeking a skilled LGV Driver C+E (Low Loader) to join our team at Tarmac Trading Limited. As a key member of our Pave Team, you will be responsible for transporting mobile plant from site to site in the North East region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport mobile plant safely and efficiently from site to site.
  • Ensure the lorry and ancillaries are regularly checked and maintained.
  • Load and unload plant and equipment with precision and care.
  • Plan journeys to ensure timely delivery of plant and equipment to site.
  • Liaise with the Plant Coordinator and Gang Foreman to ensure smooth operations.
  • Work safely and in accordance with current driving regulations.
  • Comply with company standards and procedures.
Requirements
  • Valid LGV (HGV) Class 1 licence.
  • Valid Digital Tacho Card.
  • Valid CPC Qualification Card.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
