Pertemps is Supporting a Local Public Sector Client

We are working with a local Public Sector client who is seeking to appoint a Tutor within their Student Support team during term time (40 weeks per year).

Role Overview

This role is to provide group tutorials covering Personal Development, Behaviour and Welfare subjects. The ideal candidate would have previously worked within an education setting with a pastoral support role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare a range of tutorial materials and resources in line with various areas.
  • Plan, facilitate and deliver engaging tutorial lessons to groups of students.
  • Develop, co-ordinate and implement strategies for raising student attendance, liaising with parents, students and staff.
  • Contacting parents and carers to inform them of issues that have arisen, such as poor attendance or behaviour.
  • Ensure Personal Development tutorial materials are up to date.

The salary for this role is £24,000 - £26,000 pro rata.
