About the Role

TXM Recruit is seeking a skilled Maintenance Operative to join our rapidly expanding retail maintenance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our stores by performing general reactive maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general reactive maintenance tasks in store, including but not limited to:
  • Carrying out repairs and maintenance on toilets, shop floor, and communal areas.
  • Replacing light bulbs, taps, toilet seats, hanging doors, and fixing shelves.
  • Patching, rendering, painting, or minor carpentry and plumbing repairs.
  • Carrying out PPMs (Predictive Maintenance) such as Legionella testing, fire alarm testing, and sprinkler testing.
  • Conducting building inspections, including roof walks and building checks.
Additional Duties
  • Updating the tablet with daily reports, H&S notes, and sending emails.
  • Using technology, including a PDA tablet and company-provided smartphone.

Maternity and Adoption Leave
