Accommodation Operations Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accommodation Manager to join our team at Butlin's. As a key member of our Guest Services and Accommodation Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of our accommodation services, including guest rooms, public areas, and venues.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of cleaning and maintenance staff to deliver exceptional standards of cleanliness and maintenance across our resort.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive our Clean and Fault Free (CAFF) approach, ensuring that our accommodation and public areas meet the highest standards.
- Work closely with the Guest Services Manager and Team to understand guest issues and drive problem resolution.
- Chair weekly accommodation figures meetings to plan and allocate team resources for intake days.
- Collaborate with the Facilities team and Accommodation Productivity Manager to plan and complete room maintenance.
- Support the C&E teams with the allocation of large-scale events and ensure H&S Compliance for your team and areas.
- Set clear goals and PDPs for your direct team, providing feedback and clear succession plans.
- Monitor engagement levels and work with the People team to identify opportunities to drive engagement and retention.
- Oversee compliance to Mobaro checklists and manage team performance with Cleaning Managers and Shift Leaders.
- Drive compliance to brand standards and be accountable for people management of the department.
Requirements
- Excellent level of operational knowledge in cleaning and leading cleaning teams.
- Experience in leading large teams in fast-paced environments.
- Able to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing requirements.
- Experience in leading a mixture of permanent and temporary teams to deliver excellent standards.
- Ability to effectively lead, coach, and motivate team, even in times of high demand.
- Understanding different communication styles and the ability to communicate well at all levels.
