Role Overview

In this position, you will oversee the effective management of the retail team, reporting directly to the Area Manager. Your primary objective will be to enhance sales and profitability while ensuring exceptional customer service and operational excellence. You will play a crucial role in maintaining brand integrity, fostering team development, and providing motivational leadership to your team.

  • Achieve and surpass sales objectives while driving store profitability.
  • Review all available reports and commercial data to identify opportunities for showroom performance enhancement.
  • Manage and minimize controllable expenses, ensuring all costs are necessary and justified.
  • Lead and support the retail team through consistent communication, sharing best practices and lessons learned to boost overall business performance.
  • Motivate and guide team members to uphold high standards in administration, cleanliness, systems, and operational procedures.
  • Conduct regular evaluations with the team, offering constructive feedback and creating opportunities for professional growth.
  • Collaborate with the Showroom Manager on the execution of visual merchandising standards, key events, and promotional activities.
  • Foster a culture of outstanding customer service by ensuring all team members adhere to company guidelines and training protocols.
  • Address challenging situations in a constructive and professional manner.
  • Serve as a role model and brand ambassador, consistently leading by example and building strong, professional relationships with each team member.
  • Show a genuine interest in the company's goals and performance, supporting the business strategy through effective teamwork.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all showrooms.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a retail management capacity, preferably within the interiors sector.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven history of internal advancement and professional development.
  • Exceptional leadership and decision-making abilities.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure.
  • Confident decision-maker with robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and possess good computer skills.

This is a full-time, permanent position, requiring 40 hours per week over 5 days, including evenings and weekends.
