OBJECTIVE
We are seeking a dedicated individual to collaborate closely with hotel teams and fellow Property Accountants, ensuring the efficient management of administrative and financial accounting functions for a specified group of hotels.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reconcile general ledger and revenue accounts, addressing any discrepancies.
- Conduct financial analysis related to cash accruals, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and sales tax exemption assessments.
- Analyze financial statements to pinpoint and clarify variances.
- Oversee month-end closing processes and reconciliations.
- Perform accounting analyses and generate reports to aid in strategic decision-making.
- Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries for accruals and variances.
- Provide timely accounting information to hotel management as required.
- Assist hotel staff with daily accounting inquiries and issues.
- Prepare and distribute monthly account management reports.
- Comply with established accounting principles and company policies.
- Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks and adhere to tight deadlines.
- Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Possess excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities.
- Showcase effective time management skills.
- Demonstrate initiative and follow-through in all tasks.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in general accounting, including general ledger management, bank reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and accounts payable.
- Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel is essential.
- Experience in the hospitality sector and familiarity with SAP is advantageous.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Accounting, or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
