OBJECTIVE

We are seeking a dedicated individual to collaborate closely with hotel teams and fellow Property Accountants, ensuring the efficient management of administrative and financial accounting functions for a specified group of hotels.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Reconcile general ledger and revenue accounts, addressing any discrepancies.
  • Conduct financial analysis related to cash accruals, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and sales tax exemption assessments.
  • Analyze financial statements to pinpoint and clarify variances.
  • Oversee month-end closing processes and reconciliations.
  • Perform accounting analyses and generate reports to aid in strategic decision-making.
  • Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries for accruals and variances.
  • Provide timely accounting information to hotel management as required.
  • Assist hotel staff with daily accounting inquiries and issues.
  • Prepare and distribute monthly account management reports.
  • Comply with established accounting principles and company policies.
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks and adhere to tight deadlines.
  • Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities.
  • Showcase effective time management skills.
  • Demonstrate initiative and follow-through in all tasks.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in general accounting, including general ledger management, bank reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and accounts payable.
  • Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel is essential.
  • Experience in the hospitality sector and familiarity with SAP is advantageous.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Accounting, or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
