About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Thornford Park, a medium secure and low secure unit and rehabilitation flats. As a Senior Mental Health Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals with mental health conditions, while also supporting your colleagues and promoting positive teamwork.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, effective, and compassionate nursing care to service users.
  • Be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Provide mentorship and support to team members.
  • Observe, record, and report all service user changes, and maintain accurate records of care provided.
Requirements
  • A relevant nursing qualification and registration.
  • NMC registration.
  • 18-months experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Strong team-working skills.
  • A high level of self-motivation and a flexible approach.
  • A positive attitude and be naturally caring and compassionate.
  • A commitment to high-quality care and to values and evidence-based practice.
