Site Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Engineer to join our Construction team in the Anglian Water Region. As a Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our construction projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Health and Safety: Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with relevant regulations and company safe working practices.
  • Project Planning: Assist in the preparation of construction programmes, method statements, action plans, and risk assessments.
  • Setting Out: Set out the works to ensure accurate positioning and alignment.
  • Quality Control: Check site work to ensure compliance with specifications and drawings.
  • Site Records: Maintain accurate site records, including measurements and records with client staff.
  • Communication: Liaise with design department to ensure updated information is used and maintain good communication with site staff.
  • Quantity Take-Offs: Take off quantities from drawings for measurement purposes and assist in the preparation of requisitions.
  • Documentation: Assist in the preparation of construction completion documentation.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure works are constructed to a good quality in line with specifications and good working practices.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of construction practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
