We are seeking a dedicated Surgical Theatre Specialist to join our esteemed team at a Private Healthcare Facility. This position offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package, including a fully funded Surgical First Assistant course.
This is a full-time opportunity where you will be involved in various surgical specialties, including:
- General Surgery
- ENT
- Gynaecology
- Orthopaedics
- Plastics
- Ophthalmology
- Urology
In the initial weeks of your role, you can anticipate:
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure a patient-focused approach to care.
- Executing scrub responsibilities in line with established protocols, enhancing quality assurance, and advocating for evidence-based practices.
- Carrying out all duties with professionalism and skill, including mandatory surgical assessments before, during, and after procedures.
- Organizing, managing, and preparing surgical instruments and medications for a variety of surgical interventions.
To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:
- Registered General Nurse status with valid NMC registration or ODP with active HCPC pin.
- A proven history of working in an operating theatre with relevant scrub experience.
- General scrub and circulating competencies across a diverse range of patient cases.
