Senior Electrical Technician – Facilities Management Provider – Commercial Sector

We are pleased to present a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable Facilities Management provider. We are currently seeking a Senior Electrical Technician to oversee maintenance operations within a commercial environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing both scheduled and urgent maintenance tasks across the designated site.

The ideal applicant will possess a solid background in Facilities Management, demonstrating a successful history in building maintenance. In return, the organization offers a competitive remuneration package, including a salary of up to £38,000, overtime opportunities, professional development, and potential for career advancement.

Compensation Package Includes:

Working Hours:
  • Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lighting systems management (installation, troubleshooting, bulb replacement, etc.)
  • Conducting emergency lighting inspections
  • Control panel maintenance
  • Ballast replacement
  • Monitoring BMS systems (temperature regulation)
  • Performing all aspects of mechanical and electrical maintenance
  • Updating and maintaining logbooks
  • Plumbing tasks (unblocking fixtures)
  • Working with pumps and motors
  • Ensuring compliance and proper documentation
  • Maintenance of chillers and pressurization units
  • Executing assigned tasks promptly and professionally.
  • Proactively identifying and addressing faults in building services equipment.
Qualifications:
  • Electrically qualified with City & Guilds Level 2 & 3
  • City & Guilds 18th Edition certification
  • HVAP or LVAP qualifications are advantageous
  • Ability to provide proof of trade certifications
  • Demonstrated experience in commercial building maintenance
  • Multi-skilled capabilities
  • Strong communication skills
  • Client-facing experience
