About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to provide tailored support to a student with special educational needs in a reputable school in Ruislip.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with SEN and a strong understanding of specific learning difficulties, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, or speech and language needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to a student with SEN, implementing personalized learning strategies and interventions
  • Work closely with the student, teachers, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive and inclusive learning environment
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with the student, teachers, and other stakeholders
  • Collaborate with the school's SEN team to ensure the student's needs are met and progress is monitored
Requirements
  • Experience working as a Teaching Assistant or Support Worker with students with SEN
  • Understanding of specific learning difficulties, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, or speech and language needs
  • Familiarity with individual education plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with SEN
