About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at KV Care. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children and young people in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist children with daily living tasks, such as personal care, social support, and mobility
  • Provide emotional and well-being support, including signposting to social activities and groups
  • Support children with medical needs, including PEG care, tracheostomy care, and professional movement and handling
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with children, young people, and their families
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless care and support
Requirements
  • Experience working with children and young people, particularly those with complex needs
  • Ability to think on your feet and respond to changing situations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of behavior management and de-escalation strategies
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
