Key Responsibilities- Assist children with daily living tasks, such as personal care, social support, and mobility
- Provide emotional and well-being support, including signposting to social activities and groups
- Support children with medical needs, including PEG care, tracheostomy care, and professional movement and handling
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with children, young people, and their families
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless care and support
- Experience working with children and young people, particularly those with complex needs
- Ability to think on your feet and respond to changing situations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of behavior management and de-escalation strategies
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Competitive hourly rate: £9.70-£9.90 per hour, with enhanced payments for emergency cover
