The Role

We are seeking a skilled Graduate Prosthetist to join our team in Wolverhampton, delivering the Prosthetics service on behalf of the NHS. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing, measuring, casting, fitting, delivering, reviewing, and adjusting prostheses as required across a range of amputation levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess patient needs and develop personalized prosthetic solutions
  • Manage patient expectations and ensure needs are respected and communicated effectively
  • Maintain accurate clinical notes and records
  • Develop and maintain an up-to-date Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Portfolio
  • Participate in postgraduate training courses and attend meetings and conferences

Requirements

  • Degree qualified in Prosthetics and Orthotics or equivalent
  • HCPC registration
  • BAPO or ISPO (desirable)
  • Experience in lower limb prosthetics and delivering a range of prosthetic clinics
  • Experience or desire to be involved in audit or service evaluation
