Child and Family Support Specialist
Location: Kent
Salary: Up to £38 per hour
We are currently seeking a dedicated Child and Family Support Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for a compassionate and professional individual who is eager to positively impact the lives of children and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee a varied caseload involving children, adolescents, and their families, conducting thorough assessments to identify the needs and strengths of clients and caregivers, and developing support plans under the guidance of a designated supervisor.
- Utilize established eligibility criteria in compliance with statutory regulations, organizational policies, and national legislation.
- Ensure the provision of adequate advocacy services to empower service users in managing their personal assistance arrangements.
- Recognize and, when necessary, address safeguarding and quality of care concerns in accordance with organizational policies.
Essential Qualifications:
- A degree in Social Work.
- Demonstrated competency at the New Practitioner or Practitioner level within the Social Care Capability Framework.
- Relevant experience showcasing the necessary competencies.
- Ability to operate effectively within a court environment.
