We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our client's team in Truro. As a senior finance professional, you will be responsible for leading the group accounting function and ensuring compliance with all relevant reporting standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead responsibility for all accounting protocols and maintaining robust internal controls
- Ensure compliance to all relevant reporting standards
- Identify and implement improvements to the function
- Act as a key point of contact to external stakeholders and major suppliers
- Production and delivery of detailed management accounts
- Ensure efficient supplier payment processes
- Management of the payroll function (not administration)
- Assist with annual audits
- Lead and develop your own team to ensure CPD goals are achieved
We are looking for a dynamic and energetic Financial Controller with a demonstrable history of success. A professionally qualified individual (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), you will need a solid background in supervising staff, preparation of financial and management reports, up to date knowledge of accounting standards and budgetary controls, and a natural leadership style.
